GAZA: One of the bombs dropped by Israel on the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning targeted a house in the town of Khan Yunis. The home of the father of Mohammed Deifi, the mastermind of the attack that cost Israel his head and left thousands dead. His family, including his father, brother and children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes. The Israeli army did not get any information about him.

It has been revealed that Mohammed Deif was the mastermind behind the rocket attacks on Gaza that Israel described as their ‘9/11’, resulting in over a thousand deaths. Behind Al Aqsa, which shook Israel, was the joint planning of the Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinver, and Deif. Among them, only a handful of Hamas members knew that Hamas was preparing for such a terrible attack.

Immediately after the attack, Deif’s video message warning against Israel was released. Deif warned Israel that it will respond to the attacks on Masjid al-Aqsa and the invasion by breaking all the restrictions through ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’.

Mossad has made several attempts to capture Hamas military chief Mohammad Deif. However, Israel’s efforts to find him, who has slipped away each time, continue.

Muhammad Deifi joined Hamas in the late 1980s. He later became the head of Hamas’s al-Qassam Brigades. It is under the leadership of Deif that the weak Al Qasm was strengthened and Al Qasm prepared for strong countermeasures against Israel.

Deif was captured by Israel in 1989 and spent 16 months in prison. Later in 2014, his wife and two children were killed in an Israeli attack. Later, many attempts were made to find Deif, who disappeared, but all failed.
