iOS 17 was released to users on September 18. The new system arrived with a plethora of features that were impossible to overlook.
But there are still some hidden features and settings that have been overlooked and you probably haven’t heard anything about them yet, despite their importance.
These minor modifications may be very simple in essence, but they were definitely to improve the user experience and make it easier to use the new system. After all, Apple didn’t introduce it to be ignored after all.
10 features in iOS 17 that did not receive enough attention

Messaging app

While using the default mail app, if you want to add a link to any text phrase, you can copy the link, select the text and then click the “Paste” button and that text phrase will instantly turn into a hyperlink.
Add text to shapes
If you add a shape to any photo from within the Photos app using the “Markup” feature, you can now double-click the shape to be able to add text to it.
Laundry symbols
When you find any strange symbol printed on any clothing and you do not understand it, there is a high probability that this symbol is for washing symbols that require a specific method of washing and cleaning. Now, you can use the visual search feature from within the Photos app to get comprehensive information about any icon.
Option to find your Apple Watch from Control Center
Apple has added a new option to the Control Center to make the Apple Watch make a sound if you have trouble finding it.
Silent notifications in focus mode
Now, you can choose between muting notifications permanently or when the phone is locked while focus mode is on.
Lock the journal app
You can lock the Journal app through settings if you want to keep your entries private. This way, when you try to open the app, you will be prompted to confirm your identity using Face ID.
Journal scheduling
If you are having some memory problems or because you are busy with other work and are afraid that you will forget to use the journal application at the appropriate time, you can set a specific schedule for the application through the settings so that you will be reminded at the specified time that this is the time to use the application.
Adjust the speed of tactile feedback
If you go into Accessibility Settings, then “Touch,” then “Haptic Feedback,” you will find that you are able to specify the amount of time it may take for content to activate and react to your long presses. You can switch between fast, default and slow mode.
Shake the phone to undo
If you change the position of any application or widget on the Home screen, and you feel that you want to undo this change immediately, shake the phone in your hand, and the applications and widgets will return to their original places again.
