“We still observe that more and more weapons are accessible in an extremely easy way. All it takes is contact with a Snapchat or Telegram account. These weapons also circulate within criminal organizations“, notes Michel Degrève, criminal lawyer.

Some call them the GTA generation, a reference to an ultra violent video game. “We observe that there is a bit of a form of trivialization of evil where we tend to perceive extremely violent acts as fairly simple things. Let’s say that we have the ease of shooting, we have the extremely easy trigger more and more“, notes the lawyer.
