Uncovering Immigration Violations: Deported Individual Re-enters Kuwait Amidst Investigations

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior has started an investigation into the re-entry of a person who was once deported from Kuwait. A man from a Gulf country who was deported after a prison term has re-entered Kuwait despite being registered in the biometric fingerprint system.

The authorities are investigating the reasons for this. The suspect was caught during a security check in Nahda area. The suspect is being interrogated in custody to find out how he entered the country. But the accused is not cooperating with the interrogation. Authorities also suspect a possible conspiracy involving a Landport employee.

Scrutiny continues to track violators; 17,260 expatriates were arrested in a week

Riyadh: 17,260 law-breaking foreigners arrested in Saudi Arabia in one week. Violations of residence, employment and border security are being intensified in various parts of the country. They were arrested during a joint search conducted by various security agencies. They were caught during the inspections conducted from 19th to 25th of this month.

10,819 people were arrested for violating the Residence Act, 4,090 people for violating the Border Security Act, and 2,351 people for violating the Labor Act. 703 people were arrested while trying to cross the border into the country. Among them, 37 percent are Yemenis, 62 percent are Ethiopians and one percent are from other countries. 23 lawbreakers were caught trying to leave Saudi Arabia. 24 people have been arrested for smuggling, harboring and abetting violators of residence and labor regulations. A total of 48,405 violators are currently being prosecuted for violating the rules. Among those apprehended, the files of 42,495 violators were handed over to the embassies of their respective countries for rectification of travel documents and deportation. 2,199 violators were advised to complete their travel reservations. As many as 9,239 violators have already been deported.
