The fourth wave of COVID-19 is affecting multiple countries and unfortunately, Japan is no stranger to it. Tokyo has already reached 30,000 new cases following a resurgence of the virus in recent days. That is why on the official website of the anime Uncle from Another World, it has been confirmed that several members of the team were infected, so the fifth chapter will be delayed until August 17.

After contagion of COVID, the fifth chapter of Uncle from Another World will be delayed

The fourth chapter will be broadcast as planned, that is, tonight through Japanese television. However, the fifth episode of Uncle from Another World will not arrive until the 17th. While the broadcast is expected to continue on a regular basis, it is yet to be confirmed.

Considering that this may cause annoyance among viewers and fans of the anime, the production committee mentioned this in their official announcement:
