BALTIMORE (AP) — CJ Stroud, the Houston Texans’ rookie quarterback, has had an unusual start to his NFL career. In the season opener in Baltimore, Stroud experienced a strange situation when he caught his own pass.
Stroud’s first pass attempt in the NFL was blocked by Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith and thrown high into the air. Incredibly, Stroud managed to catch the ball before it hit the ground. The former Ohio State University star was then stopped by a Ravens player following a short 1-yard gain.
