According to the proceedings, the events were held at neighborhood centers, where neighbors attended, obtained a number and were then attended to by a woman, who claimed to be a doctor and performed the corresponding tests. Then they were attended to by a man, who identified himself as an optical technician, who made them choose the frames and finalized the purchase of the prescribed glasses.

It is important to note that eyeglass prescriptions were not delivered as prescriptions, with the seal and signature of the alleged professional. Instead, the patient was provided with a form to be attended to by the technician.

From what was investigated, it was found that both people are not registered in the College of Physicians of the
Province of Salta to date and therefore are unable to practice medicine in the province. Furthermore, it was determined that the aforementioned campaign was carried out illegally, since it did not have the authorization or permission of the Ministry of Health, PROFICCSSA (Health Control and Inspection Program of the province of Salta) or the College of Physicians. , since they were there providing patient care.
