REGGIO EMILIA -The Reggiana Basketball spreads in the second half and stuns the Nutribullet Treviso who scored only 26 points in the second half. Thanks to Unahotels who, after two stuttering quarters, returned from the locker room with a different face and little by little crushed the Venetians with their defense and thanks to the Barford–Winston duo, unstoppable, brought home this victory. Of note are the 6 players in double figures and the warm applause for Olisevicius at the start of the match.

The news
First quarter
Before the tap-off, Osvaldas Olisevicius was awarded by president Bartoli and with much applause from Pala Bigi. Winston, Barford, Grant Cheatham and Gombauld appear for Reggio, while Harrison, Mascolo, Olisevicius, Alston and Paulicap appear for Treviso. Compared to previous matches, Unahotels starts strong with an 8-0 partial. Treviso tries to make up for it, but Uanhotels does well to resist. Despite many offensive rebounds, the run ends 17-12.
Second quarter
Nutribullet manages to equalize and then overtake thanks to Macura and Mascolo. Thanks to Grant’s bombs, Reggio is back ahead. The match remains point to point with the teams taking turns taking the lead in the score. The little guests are putting the red and whites in difficulty, who do their best with some sensationally trivial turnovers. With the difficulty of serving the big men in the paint, the half ended with a low score: 33-38 at halftime for Treviso, who posted a 26-16 partial.
Third quarter
Reggio tries to put more pressure on defense, in order to then be able to play better in attack and in fact they manage to equalize at 41-41. Winston has a hand in 3 baskets for the red and whites to overtake again at 48-43. The USA point guard is getting into gear in this second half. The defense is also working properly, only 8 points in 9 minutes for Treviso who struggle to find solutions, so Unahotels reaches the maximum advantage at +12. Ingenuity gives 5 points to Nutribullet: 57-50.
Fourth bedroom
Reggiana pushes on the gas to shake Treviso off their heels and despite an unrealistic attempt, Winston and Barford take control of the team and bring the gap to a comfortable plus 20. Nuribullet struggles to find spaces in attack and seems to give up early with over 5 minutes to play. The rest of the time is almost academic, with Barford making almost nothing mistakes. It ends with applause 88-64.
The Unexpected Defeat of Treviso: A Basketball Tale
REGGIO EMILIA – Gather round, sports fans! It was a veritable basketball fiesta last night as Reggiana Basketball decided to host a “second half explosion party” against the somewhat befuddled Nutribullet Treviso. Now, if you’ve ever watched a team score only 26 points in a half, you might be wondering if they had a little too much Nutribullet juice. Spoiler alert: they did!
Thanks to the show-stopping duo of Barford and Winston—who by some miracle apparently wear capes under their jerseys—Unahotels took a second half snoozer and turned it into a snooze no more, with a flair for dramatic dominance. They waltzed through Treviso like they were on a Sunday stroll in the park, crushing spirits and sandwiches alike with their tight-fisted defense. And can we get a round of applause for the **six players** in double figures? They really brought their A-game!

The Game in Quarters
First Quarter:
Before the action even started, our boy Olisevicius received a warm welcome from President Bartoli and a crowd of 3650 frenzied fans. Talk about a vibe! Unahotels got off to a bangin’ 8-0 lead, leaving Treviso scrambling like they’d just found out there’s a sale at IKEA and they forgot their wallet.
Second Quarter:
A twist in plot: Treviso equalized, then led, causing all sorts of excitement. But wait! Grant showed up to drop bombs from downtown, and suddenly we’re in a game of leapfrog. By halftime, Treviso held a slim lead, and the score read 33-38. Who was betting on a nail-biter?
Third Quarter:
Upon their return, Reggio was like a team of caffeinated squirrels, ramping up the defense and turning the tide 41-41. They racked up points faster than a toddler can eat cake at a birthday party! By the end of this quarter, it was all Reggiana as they stretched that lead to +12. The Nutribullet defense was looking a bit shaky; I guess they couldn’t find the right mix!
Fourth Quarter:
The final act saw Reggiana hit the accelerators with all engines blazing. Nutribullet seemed to run out of steam—much like just before half-time at a comedy gig! With Barford and Winston at the helm, everyone knew the only way was down for Treviso as the score settled at 88-64. Almost clinical!
The Aftermath
So there you have it, folks! Unahotels put on an offensive clinic and made Treviso’s defense look like a group of teenagers playing basketball for the first time. Maybe next time, Nutribullet should consider infusing a bit of that energy into their half-time orange slices! Hats off to Reggiana; may their vivacious game continue to electrify crowds far and wide!
