The editorial TO Books reported that the light novels written by Nozomu Mochitsuki and illustrated by Gilse, Tearmoon Teikoku Monogatari (Tearmoon Empire), will have an anime adaptation that will be released in 2023 in Japan. The press release also revealed to Sumire Uesaka as a member of the voice cast, as well as the project’s production team.
Nozomu Mochitsuki publication of the novels began on the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in August 2018, and the publisher TO Books published the first printed novel with illustrations by Gilse in June 2019.
