UN Special Representative for Afghanistan meeting with Interior Minister, briefing on TTP – Pakistan

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was met by a delegation led by UN Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan Andrika Ratote.

The meeting held at the Islamabad office of the Ministry of Interior was attended by the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations, Muhammad Yahya, Fadi L and the Head of the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan, Malik Sissa.

The United Nations Special Representative for Afghanistan strongly condemned the recent incidents of terrorism in Balochistan.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the need for the role of the United Nations and the international community for the rehabilitation of Afghan refugees.

The UN Special Representative for Afghanistan appreciated the role of Pakistan regarding Afghan refugees and Doha Dialogue. Andrika Ratote said that they are working with the Afghan government on permanent rehabilitation of Afghan refugees.
