The spokesman of the Afghan Taliban, Sohail Shaheen, said about the meeting hosted by the United Nations in Doha that the meeting is ineffective without the representatives of the Afghan government.

Sohail Shaheen said in a written statement to the French news agency that ‘pressuring does not help in solving problems’.

He said that the world should listen to us, by denying us our legitimate rights, by not inviting us to meetings about Afghanistan or by not listening to us, they cannot change the reality or anything like that. Can find workable solutions that are needed at the moment.
