Jeddah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has stated that those coming to Saudi Arabia on tourism visas from other GCC countries can obtain permission to visit Umrah and Medina Rawda through the ‘Itamarna’ application. It is also to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims from all over the world.
The ministry explained that foreign residents of GCC countries who have obtained a visit visa for tourism purposes, and those who have obtained visa eligibility to enter Schengen countries, the United States, and Britain, can obtain permission to perform Umrah and visit Rauda before coming to Saudi Arabia through the Itamarna application.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has provided many facilities for the pilgrims during the current Umrah season. The Ministry has taken measures including giving permission for Umrah to those who arrive on various visas.
