Umi Pipik had forbade her daughter Adiba Khanza from asking Egy Maulana for a dowry in the form of a set of prayer tools.
This was revealed by Umi Pipik through her upload on Instagram some time ago. The wife of the late Ustaz Jefri Al Buchori shared moments of the recitation before Adiba’s wedding.
“On December 9, 2023, I held a recitation & siraman and the water was poured from a collection of prayers from the ustadzahs and ulama, the purpose of this recitation and siraman was to bring prayers from all the guests present… Because what is needed from my daughter is only prayer, “ wrote Umi Pipik in the caption of her upload.
Umi Pipik believes that the dowry of prayer equipment carries a big responsibility. He was afraid that in the future his son would not be able to pray following asking for the dowry.
“When Sis Adiba asked regarding the dowry, does ummi decide, I answered, “Sis, the best shaliha woman is one who makes things easier in her dowry and makes things easier in her marriage, not burdensome and with good morals,” wrote Umi Pipik.
“As long as the dowry doesn’t come with a set of prayer tools, it’s because the responsibility will be heavy if you don’t do it,” he continued.
Umi Pipik’s way of educating her children has also received various comments from netizens.
