There is a place that unites footballers and ultras: it is not the stadium, but the Costa Smeralda. Many athletes love to spend their holidays there, however some members of the organized Inter supporters would have considered it a business ground, to the point of triggering an internal “war” among the Nerazzurri supporters themselves. The story was reconstructed in the investigation by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office, called “Doppia Curva”, which in recent days led to the arrest of nineteen people. According to the prosecutors, there were two factions in conflict: on one side Carlo Dalla Patti and Domenico Pincioni and on the other the Roman brothers, belonging to the Boys, Leopoldo and Alvise Cobianchi (all four involved in the investigation). A business that would also have tickled the attentions of the heads of the Curva Nord Andrea Beretta and Antonio Bellocco.
A kiosk on the Liscia Ruja beach, the largest on the Costa Smeralda, in which the first to invest money was Pincioni himself. But something goes wrong, because on 9 June 2023 Dalla Patti reaches the two leaders Bellocco and Beretta near the latter’s bar. The man talks about the “bullying” he suffered from his friend, an arson attack on the kiosk which, according to the prosecution, was perpetrated by the two Roman brothers and following which he sought protection.
After an initial call from Beretta to Leo Cobianchi, Bellocco states: «…they have to move, either in one way or another. (…) We’ll break his hare’s head and leave him here. We’ll put it in some garbage bin (…).” At that point, according to the prosecution, negotiations began to ensure that the Cobianchis exit the deal, in which Bellocco and Berretta would have been the mediators. Service for which the member of Roreplica’s ‘ndrina the entrepreneur – it all starts we changed the team.” Bellocco continues: «So Monday… will you do the bank transfer tomorrow for those in Rome?». “No! (…) it’s already arrived oh.” «oh yes?! and what are you?! you are a missile…”.
But the leaders of the Curva Nord, according to their robes, kept the fate of the kiosk under control also thanks to men they trusted. Bellocco would have sent two members of the ‘ndrina to Sardinia. Beretta would also have controlled the situation by sending “his” man to the island: the Albanian Orial Kolaj, known to the leader of the Nerazzurri supporters, according to those investigating, thanks to “direct relationships with Fabrizio Piscitelli”, alias Diabolik (historic head of the curve Lazio died on 7 August 2019). Despite this garrison, Beretta himself admits the flop: «…we haven’t gotten anything out of the hole…we’ve almost had problems with each other due to drunkards, drug addicts, unworthy pieces ( …)”. It is now August when Dalla Piatti resigns himself and gives up on opening the restaurant also because another entrepreneur on the phone would have told him: «(…) you are a good boy, I’m sorry for what is happening to you, I advise you if you don’t you want to hurt yourself more than pack your bags and leave and end this matter, you’ve lost your investment, but believe me it’s better this way, because you would continue to lose more and more money.” Meanwhile, the first 8 ultras arrested availed themselves of the right not to respond.
