This weekend from March 24 to 26, Miami once once more becomes the venue for the Ultra Music Festival. The meeting expects to bring together more than 170,000 people.

The 23rd edition of the Ultra Music Festival presents legends such as Tiësto and Armin Van Buuren, as well as new masters of the stage, such as Martin Garrix, who at only 26 years old ranks #1 according to DJ Magazine.

The public, coming from at least a dozen countries, has put the authorities of Bayfront Park to work early, where the festival takes place.

Throughout seven stages built in the venue, attendees will have to alternate to listen to their favorite DJ’s, for this reason there are new rules.

Fans will be able to carry small transparent bags that can fit bottles of water and little else. This was reported by the Miami Police Chief, Manuel Morales.

To facilitate security logistics, a large number of agents have been stationed in the area, while a hundred firefighters and lifeguards will support during the three days.

Although the event coincides with the “spring break”, Miami and its neighbor Miami Beach have implemented various measures to support attendees during their stay.

The police hope that there will be no serious incidents in this edition and the line of last year, which closed with only 15 arrests, will be maintained.

Last year, the event brought together 160,000 people during its three days, they went and only 48 were taken to the hospital, as reported by the city’s Fire Department.

According to the organizers, the economic impact of this festival in South Florida is estimated this year at almost 200 million dollars over the three days it lasts.

This spill corresponds to lodging, consumption centers, car rental and additional tourist services.

The origins of the Ultra Music Festival go back to 1999, when the beaches of Miami Beach hosted a single date of this acclaimed festival.

Today, it is considered a cult event for lovers of techno, house, trance, dubstep, hard dance, and other varieties of electronic music.

For at least twenty years, Miami’s Bayfront Park has been home to the Ultra Music Festival, paving the way for Miami Music Week.

This offers various DJ sets in the most exclusive clubs in the Miami metropolitan area, such as M2, where Resistance will take place, under the motto “From Ibiza 2 Miami”.
