In less than a week, time for the first screenings at the Sarlat film festival (Dordogne). The 32nd edition will take place from November 7 to 11 on the theme “Dramas, tricks and spaghetti: Italian cinema in all its excesses”. More than 6,000 moviegoers and nearly 600 high school students are expected at the Rex cinema and the cultural center. As part of the Vigipirate plan in force in France, a reinforced security system has been put in place.
At the cultural center
The cultural center is the workplace for high school students. Everyone will have to label their backpack, sine qua non condition for entry. In addition, a visual check of bags will be carried out at entry morning, noon and evening. “If for one reason or another there is no label, the instructions are clear, we must call the deminers,” explains Pierre-Henri Arnstam, president of the festival.
At the Rex cinema
For spectators who want to attend the sessions at the Rex during the festival, same instructions. Bags must be labeled: name, first name and telephone number. Organizers ask spectators to anticipate. If you forget, labels will be available at the entrance.
