LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Do you feel the luck of the Irish? St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner and it brings in big business here in Nevada. According to the Retail Association of Nevada, Nevadans are projected to spend $66 million celebrating the holiday this year. We’re taking a look at some of the best places to celebrate here in the valley.

Lyft Pass Discount

If you’re planning on drinking this St. Patrick’s Day, local officials are partnering with Lyft to get you their safely. It’s part of the Zero Fatalities program through the Nevada Department of Public Safety. From noon Friday to noon Saturday, you can get $5 off a Lyft Pass Rideshare. All you have to do is download the latest version of the Lyft app, find the payment tab, click Add Lyft Pass and use the code “STPATSRIDE2023”. The company said the discount will automatically apply when your ride meets the rules.

Downtown Henderson – Water Street District

The 55th annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and parade will be at the Water Street district March 10 through March 12. The carnival and festival is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Festivities, including the parade, kick off at 10 a.m. Saturday morning and runs through 10 p.m. On Sunday, the car show starts at 8 a.m. with the festival and carnival starting at noon.

The District at Green Valley Ranch

Officials say they’re hosting a pub crawl on March 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be specials starting at $6.50 from Ritchie McNeely’s, PKWY Tavern, and Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ. Pinot’s Palette will also offer a buy one, get one free deal on select St. Patrick’s Day themed paintings on March 17. You can make reservations here and use the promo code “PATTY” at checkout.

Green Valley Ranch Resort Casino and Spa – Drop Bar, Lucky Penny

The Drop Bar will have a live DJ on March 17 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will also be special drinks like the Pot of Gold which features Jameson orange, pineapple, lime and tropical Red Bull for $12. The Lucky Penny will also be offering food specials like the mint chocolate chip brookie for $7.99.

Downtown Las Vegas – Downtown Container Park

Are you ready to Sham-Rock the Park? That’s from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 17. There will be giveaways, shot specials, and bottomless brew options like Guinness, Hop Valley, and Sullivan’s. There will also be live music by the Sin City Devils. Early bird tickets are $40 but ticket prices will go up as we get closer to the event.

Downtown Las Vegas – Fremont Street Experience

The ShamRock Bash is back from March 16 to March 19. Organizers said 18 bands will take the stage for 144 hours of music including The Arcana Kings, Darby O’Gill, and Finnegan’s Wake.

They’ll be hosting the St. Patrick’s Day parade and Firefighters Challenge Games which kicks off on March 17. The parade will start at noon on Fremont Street and Main Street. The games start at 1 p.m. where firefighters from across Nevada will compete in events like tug-of-war and wheel barrow racing. There will be some road closures in place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., which mainly affect Third Street from Stewart Avenue to Ogden Avenue.

Celtic Feis is returning to the Strip at New York New York. On March 17, the all-day event will run from 10 a.m. to midnight. Admission starts at $10. There will be a parade led by the Las Vegas Emerald Society Pipe Band which kicks off at Bliss Dance in The Park and ends at the Brooklyn Bridge. There will also be Celtic bands, DJs, and traditional food from the Nine Fine Irishmen restaurant. There will also be a second parade on March 18. Both of them start at 10 a.m.

Grand Canal Shoppes – Flight Club Social Darts

Flight Club will have several specials on March 17 including a “Pot of Gold” cocktail sprinkled with gold dust for $17 and green draft beer for $5.

The Brass Fork will have several dining special on St. Patrick’s Day including corned beef and cabbage for $15.99 and spinach and artichoke croquettes for $9.99. The Gaudi Bar will have several specialty cocktails including the Irish Mule for $12 and the Lucky Charm featuring Absolut citron and green glitter for $9.

The Lucky Penny will also be serving specialty drinks while the Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar will be serving Guinness Braised Short Rib for $38. They will also have drink specials including $12 Jameson shots, $14 Guinness beer, and $12 Irish coffee. You can make reservations here.

Specialty cocktails will be served at the High Limit Room and food specials at the Brass Fork. Tailgate Social will have several drink specials including $12 Irish coffees, $7 green beer, $8 Guinness beer, and $12 Jameson shots.

Tuscany Suites & Casino – PUB 365 and Marilyn’s Cafe

On March 17, Marilyn’s Cafe will serve corned beef and cabbage from noon to 8 p.m. for $16.99. PUB 365 will be serving traditional shepherd’s pie from noon to 2 a.m. for $15.99. You can also order a reuben sandwich with pub chips for $15.99 from March 1 through March 17.

PT’s Taverns

PT’s Taverns will celebrate at their locations at Southern Highlands Parkway and Ann Road on March 17. There will be a special menu including fish and chips for $16 and drunken potato skins for $11. There will also be outdoor parties with beer trucks from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Live music with local rock band, The Parametrics, will be at the Ann Road location while Retro Sonic will take the stage at the Southern Highlands Parkway location. That’s from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino – 4949 Lounge, Brass Fork

There will be specialty cocktails like the Pot of Gold, Irish Mule, and Lucky charm being served on March 17 at the 4949 Lounge. The Brass Fork will also have food specials including spinach and artichoke croquettes and mint chocolate chip brookies.

Boulder State Hotel and Casino – Kixx Bar, Brass Fork

The Brass Fork will have the same food specials as the location at Santa Fe Station Hotel while the Kixx Bar will have the same specialty cocktails being served at the 4949 Lounge.

Venetian – Black Tap Las Vegas, Brera Osteria, and Matteo’s Italian Restaurant

Black Tap is teaming up with Mariah Carey and her Irish Cream liqueur brand “Black Irish.” From March 12-19, you can try their CrazyShake that features Black Irish buttercream frosting, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. The shake is completed with a Guinness Extra Stout cupcake.

At Brera Osteria, they’re unveiling a Shamrock affogato. That’s Irish whiskey ice cream topped with a shot of Italian espresso and drizzled with caramel. It’s only available on March 17. Over at Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano, they’re offering a special Mandilli di Seta or green pasta dish. That features handkerchief egg pasta with almond basil pesto and Ligurian extra virgin olive oil.

The STRAT

There will be several specials across the casino from March 17 to March 19. PT’s Wings & Sports, REMIX Lounge, View Lounge, and 108 Drinks will have several drink specials including a complimentary green Jell-O shot with any purchase of $10 or more, a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey with a pickle juice back for $10, and green beer for $7. PT’s as well as the STRAT Cafe and McCall’s Heartland Grill will have food specials. Corned beef and cabbage sliders will be available for $18 at PT’s. The STRAT Cafe will serve corned beef and cabbage with red potatoes and carrots and a Budweiser or Bud Light for $28. McCall’s is serving a corned beef platter including ribs, potatoes, and cabbage for $52.

There will also be live music at PT’s and REMIX Lounge from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. March 17 with bands Crown Avenue and The Celtic Rockers.

Area 15

Area 15 is hosting a Lepra-con Pub Crawl on March 17. Guests can have one draft beer at five different locations including Oddwood Bar, LIFTOFF Lounge, Sanctuary Lounge, The Beast, and The Wall. Check-in begins at 7 p.m. and the event runs through midnight. Tickets are $40 per person.

There will be several drink specials at various Yard House locations in the valley. That includes Guinness blended with house beers like the honey blonde ale, IPA, or Cuvee. There will also be Dublin Mules and green beer.

El Cortez – Siegel’s 1941

Guests can try the Chicago kettle style corned beef and cabbage for $17 on March 17. You can also try Guinness for $5. The specials run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Virgin Hotel – Casa Calavera, Kassi Beach House, The Kitchen at Commons Club, Night + Market: Thai Drinking Food

Casa Calavera is putting an Irish twist on Mexican classics for St. Patrick’s Day. That includes corned beef empanadas and tacos. They’ll also have green churros. At Kassi Beach House, they’re throwing a house party starting at 9 p.m. with 50% off pastas and select bottles and featured cocktails. You can try the corned beef hash skillet for $18 at The Kitchen at Commons Club on March 17. Night + Market is also serving up specialty cocktails like the Irish Expression or the Irish tart which both feature whiskey.

More Please Taqueria and Tequila

The restaurant is offering 50% off their entire menu from 11 p.m. until they close on March 17. There will also be a DJ from 8 p.m. to midnight. A special happy hour menu will be available from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. including green beer and Jameson and green-dyed hard shell tacos.

La Neta Kitchen and Lounge

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, La Neta will be offering $9 Jameson margaritas and $9 Jameson shots all day. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will also be a special menu with corned beef flautas and green tortillas.

You can get your sugar fix with the Lucky Leprechaun Insane Milkshake. It includes vanilla and coffee ice cream, Jameson whiskey, chocolate gold coins, rainbow sour belts, and a rainbow whirly pop. It will be available from March 4 to March 31 and costs $25.

MGM Grand – Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House

The restaurant will feature two types of mules. One is made with lime while the other features orange and both feature types of Jameson whiskey. They cost $15 and will be available from March 17 to March 19.

At all locations, you can try different St. Patrick’s Day specials during Happy Hour. From March 13 to March 17, you can try $3 green beer and $6 corned beef sliders. Corned beef sliders will also be available for lunch, dinner, takeout, and delivery for $19.

You can try corned beef sliders with tater tots for $7 and the $9 Leprechaun Stiletto drink during Happy Hour from March 13 to March 17 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You can also order the sliders for lunch, dinner, takeout, and delivery for $26.

O’Sheas will be offering 16-ounce draft green beers for $10.95.

They’ll be selling a signature pastry called the Four Leaf Clover. It’s a coffee mousse with hazelnut dacquoise, feuilletine and dark chocolate cremeux.

There will be several specials on the menu on St. Patrick’s Day including shamrock and roll pancakes, the lucky charm corned beef sandwich, green apple mimosas, and Kiss Me I’m Irish Coffee.

The Golden Tiki is celebrating their March/April charity cocktail of the month. The new edition is called the “Tiki O’Clanahan.” It features rum, Irish whiskey, apricot, pineapple, coconut cream, and cinnamon and stout syrup. It’s part of a collaboration with local brewery Crafthaus. The drink is $16 or $35 with a keepsake mug. The money is going to The Collaboration Center Foundation which helps families and individuals living with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

Cafe Aquarius will offer corned beef with cabbage and either salad or split pea soup on March 17. That’s $24 per person. At Edgewater, PT’s Express will serve corned beef sliders with french fries and a 16-ounce Bud Light draft for $14.

Miracle Mile Shops – Cabo Wabo Cantina

On March 17, Cabo Wabo will be serving green beer for $9 and green margaritas starting at $14. They’ll also offer green enchiladas with green salsa verde for $20.95, green tortillas chips with salsa for $7.50, and guacamole for $14.95.

From March 1 to March 19, Pinkbox has a special lineup of St. Patrick’s Day-themed treats. That includes three new creations like the Shamrock, Mint Face DoughCro, or the Lucky Lime Cheesecake donut. They are also bringing back holiday favorites including the Lucky Charms Bar, Clorver, and Pot O’ Gold, which comes complete with a sour rope rainbow.

On March 17, you can try a special St. Patrick’s Day margarita at Toca Madera. It features Altos Blance, lime, and jalapeno agave. The restaurant will be open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

If you stop by Twin Peaks locations across the valley, you might get free food just for wearing green. The restaurant chain said any guest that wears green and spends at least $10 at participating locations can get a free order of fried pickles on St. Patrick’s Day.

Ri Ra said there will be live music and entertainment by Irish bands like The Black Donnelly’s, Crooked Jacks, and the Achill Crossing.

From Thursday to Saturday, Dutch Bros Coffee will serve two soft top flavors. That includes the lucky clover, which features orange and blue raspberry. You can also try the Irish Cream.
