Maximilian Ullmann closed the Venice chapter: The 28-year-old terminated his contract with the Italian first division promoted team, which ran until summer 2025.
In January 2022, he moved from Rapid to the then Serie A club. He made his debut for 90 minutes in the spring opener against Inter Milan, and only four more appearances followed before relegation. On the way to promotion last season, he only came on as a substitute four times, and in spring 2023 he was loaned to German second division club Magdeburg.
Ullmann is now available on a free transfer. Wolfsberg has already confirmed talks. Dietmar Kühbauer, the new coach of the Carinthian team, has already fielded the left defender 100 times during their time together at Rapid.
