Famous for producing devices with durable construction, Ulefone released this Friday (21) a promotional video that highlights the incredible resistance of the Armor 21, its mid-range cell phone that features a robust and thick design, but which guarantees its protection against damage to the screen, cameras and other sensitive components.
The video shows the smartphone undergoing a rigorous endurance test involving immersion in water, falling down stairs and even being crushed by a bicycle. Check out:
whereas the Armor 21 has IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications — military-grade protection — that attest to its ultimate resistance to water jets, steam, dust, high temperatures, high pressure and a host of other extreme conditions, so it’s no surprise that the model came out of the water immersion tests unscathed.
A detail that really stands out in the video is the cell phone being crushed by bicycles, but without suffering any damage. The rear camera remained intact while recording video of cyclists doing maneuvers on the device. The colored lighting that circles the rear speaker was no problem either.
Also, at various times, Armor 21 is thrown from staircases and shown functioning normally, without any damage visible on screen. This is due to the display’s tough edges, which absorb impact and prevent the glass from cracking.
It is worth remembering that the Ulefone Armor 21 is equipped with a 6.58-inch screen with IPS LCD technology, Full HD + resolution (2,408 x 1,080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The cell phone has a 64 MP main camera and an auxiliary night vision camera with infrared reader and 24 MP sensor.
