After the defeat in the general elections of Great Britain, Prime Minister Rishi Sonak has submitted his resignation to King Charles, while Keir Starmer also met King Charles with his wife at Buckingham Palace and accepted the invitation to form a government. After which he formed a new cabinet, Shabana Mahmood of Pakistani origin was appointed as the Minister of Justice.

It should be noted that the 14-year reign of the Conservatives in Great Britain has ended and the Labor Party has won the general election, following which Sir Keir Starmer has become the new Prime Minister.

The results of 648 out of 650 seats in the UK general election have been announced and the Labor Party has won 412 seats so far. In the general election, the Conservatives won 121 seats and the Liberals won 71, while 326 of the 650 seats in Parliament are required to form a government, and the Labor Party has won a huge majority and is in a position to form a government.

“I have just returned from the royal palace, and I have accepted the offer to be prime minister,” Kierstermer, the new British prime minister, said in his speech following meeting King Charles at Buckingham Palace.
