The Russian war in Ukraine has forced millions of Ukrainians to flee their country, and some of them are in Mexico City, where authorities have set up a shelter to receive them while they wait to enter the United States through a government program. In this place, located in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office, refugees are helped to apply for political asylum in the US.
