[Lviv, 27th Archyde.com]–Ukrainian President Oleksandr Zelensky announced on the 27th that he will hold talks with the Russian negotiating team at the Belarusian border without any preconditions.

“The Ukrainian delegation has agreed to hold talks with the Russian delegation on the border with Belarus near the Pripyat River without preconditions,” President Zelensky said in a statement following a telephone conversation with President Belarus. ..

Russia initially proposed consultations within Belarus’ territory. With Russian troops invading Ukraine from Belarus, President Zelensky refused to negotiate and proposed to consult elsewhere.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kleba explained that he had been assured by Belarus that he would not be involved in the war while the talks continued. He said, “Let’s ask what Russia speaks.” Russia has also been forced to retreat from military operations and has not made any prerequisites.

Meanwhile, the foreign minister analyzed that Putin is trying to put pressure on negotiations regarding the high alertness of nuclear forces.
