Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky once more stated that he is ready for negotiations with former American leader Donald Trump, who had previously refused to go to Kyiv.
According to Zelensky, he would like to get acquainted with Trump’s proposed plan for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. “If he has a real plan, please show us,” the Ukrainian leader said in an interview with the publication The Sun. At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine does not consider proposals providing for concessions of territories to be a peace plan.
He also spoke regarding a series of attempts on his life. Zelensky clarified that there were “five or six” in total, but only the first attempt caused panic. “Then it’s like COVID,” Zelensky compared the situation.
Earlier, former US President Donald Trump rejected Zelensky’s invitation to come to Kyiv, citing a possible conflict of interest amid interaction with the Ukrainian authorities of the current White House administration led by Joe Biden.
