Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today (Sunday) that he discussed with his US counterpart, Joe Biden, the course of hostilities in the Ukrainian-Russian war, as well as the recent developments in Russia.
Zelensky added on Twitter that he also discussed with Biden the expansion of defense cooperation and focus on long-range weapons, stressing the importance of strengthening Ukrainian air defense capabilities. He pointed out that they also discussed the position of the two countries before the next summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Later, the White House said in a statement that Biden assured his Ukrainian counterpart of Washington’s support for Kiev, including through continued security, economic and humanitarian assistance.
