And Ukraine announced that its forces had regained control of the town of “Blagodny” in the vicinity of the city of Solidere, which is located north of Bakhmut, and the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense added that the Russian forces withdrew from Blagodny.

And the Ukrainian forces published pictures that they said were of soldiers raising the Ukrainian flag in the town. She indicated that she would publish pictures and information about what she called the progress of her units, at a later time.

Earlier, the spokesman for the Operations Command of Eastern Ukraine, Serhiy Cherivati, said that the Ukrainian forces advanced about 1,400 meters towards the Bakhmut region from different directions, taking advantage of the exchange of Russian forces there.

Cherivati ​​added that his forces killed 138 Russian soldiers, and that the Russian bombardment continues on the positions of the Ukrainian forces and the cities and towns surrounding Bakhmut.

Kherson front

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said that Russia had begun transferring units of elite forces to Kherson in the south of the country, specifically from the Marine Corps and Airborne Forces.

The Ukrainian General Staff stated that it bombed Russian military sites and shot down 4 Russian drones during the battles in Kherson Province.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in televised statements that Russia understands that the regime in Kiev is neither willing nor ready for dialogue.

Peskov added that Moscow does not see any basis, even if it is weak, to build a dialogue with Kiev.
