After the Russian President Vladimir Putinannounced the start of a military operation in Ukraine, officials from that country accused the president of have started an invasion. In this sense, the advisor to the Ministry of the Interior, Anton Gerashchenko, warned that the world faces the danger of a “third World war”.
“There have just been missiles at the military headquarters, airports, military warehouses, near Kiev, Kharkov and Dnieper (…) Either Ukraine and the world stop the new Hitler now or there will be a third world war”, he wrote on his official Facebook account.
Gerashchenko also assured that “thousands of rockets and cartridges have already been launched throughout Ukraine”. He added that hundreds of citizens have died and anticipated that there will be millions more who will die later.
“Call your friends and relatives in Russia. Write to them,” she continued.
President Zelenski said
Ukraine’s President Volodimir Zelensky said Thursday that Russia was abiding by his country’s “military infrastructure” and border posts, while urging the population not to panic.
In a video message on Facebook following the start of the Russian military operation once morest Ukraine, Zelensky announced martial law throughout the country and said he spoke by phone with US President Joe Biden.
