Three Ukrainian drones were shot down on Sunday, but a business and shopping district in the west of the capital was attacked, the BBC reported, citing sources from the Russian Defense Ministry. The fifth and sixth floors of a 50-story building were damaged, but no casualties were reported, Russian state news agency TASS reported. Separately, Vnukovo Airport, southwest of central Moscow, was briefly closed. Russia issued a statement saying the attempted terrorist attack had been thwarted.
