Germany will deliver in February to Ukraine, the scene of a crisis between Westerners and Russians, a “field hospital, with the necessary training (staff), “announced Saturday the German Minister of Defense, Christine Lambrecht in an interview in the Sunday version of the newspaper “Die Welt”.
“We have also already provided respirators,” said Ms. Lambrecht, adding that Germany was “already treating seriously injured Ukrainian soldiers in (the) hospitals of the Bundeswehr”, the German army. “So we stand with Kiev. We must now do everything in our power to defuse the crisis,” she said.
Germany, on the other hand, rejected the idea of delivering arms to Ukraine, believing that this would only aggravate tensions.
