[Lviv, 12th Archyde.com]-Russia attacked a convoy of civilians evacuating from a village near Kyiv in the country, killing seven people, including one child, according to Ukrainian officials.

The convoy did not follow the evacuation route agreed with Russia.

Ukrainian President Zelensky said yesterday that Russia is deploying new troops. He also said that the Ukrainian army had killed regarding 1,300 people and called on Western nations to be more involved in peace talks.

President Zelensky meets with German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron. The two leaders then also had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, urging him to order a ceasefire immediately.

The Russian Presidential Administration announced that there was no mention of a ceasefire at the 75-minute parley. “President Putin had no intention of ending the fight,” said a senior French presidential official.

President Zelensky has also met with Israeli Prime Minister Bennett on the prospects for a ceasefire talks, but diplomatic efforts have so far been fruitless.

The United States has announced that it will provide up to $ 200 million in additional support for Ukraine, including firearms, anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.
