[５日 ロイター] – Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Russian private military company Wagner, said on the 5th that the Ukrainian army had recaptured a part of Belkivka, north of Bakhmut, a key town in Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine.
Belkivka is located regarding three kilometers northwest of Bakhmut. “Part of the Belkivka settlement is lost. The army is quietly fleeing. It’s a shame,” Prigozhin said in an audio message published by his own press service.
Denis Pushirin, head of the pro-Russian-controlled area of Donetsk region, told Russian state television that the situation was “under control” but was “extremely difficult.”
