A Ukrainian agent arrested in Izhevsk intended to blow up the chief designer of a drone production plant. This was reported today, January 12, by the press service of the courts of Udmurtia.
“The man, in the interests of a terrorist organization, prepared to blow up the chief designer of one of the UAV factories in Izhevsk. To do this, he went to the designer’s place of residence, inspected the conditions for carrying out an explosion, and purchased components for making an explosive device. The actions of the accused in preparing to commit a terrorist attack were stopped by officers of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Udmurt Republic,” the report says.
A man born in 1990 was detained in December. A criminal case has been opened against him under three articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, including preparation for a terrorist attack.
