Foreign media reported that Ukraine had planned a massive attack on the Russian mainland in February, one year after the invasion of Russia, but put it on hold when the United States held it back.

It is said that these contents were contained in classified NSA documents leaked by US Air Force Pfc Jack Teixeira.

last February 28th.

An unidentified object appeared in the sky above Russia’s second-largest city, St.

The drone also crashed in Kolomna, a small town 110 kilometers southeast of Moscow.

At the time, the Russian Ministry of Defense said, “Ukraine attempted to attack civilian infrastructure in southern Krasnodar and elsewhere using drones, but it was repulsed.”

In this regard, the Washington Post reported that Ukraine planned a massive attack on the Russian mainland on February 24, one year after the invasion of Russia, but put it on hold at the request of the United States.

According to leaked classified documents, Kirilo Budanov, director of the military intelligence service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, ordered on February 13 to “mobilize all forces and prepare for a large-scale attack on February 24”.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense’s military intelligence agency also considered a plan to strike the Russian Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk from the sea using TNT explosives.

But on February 22, the US CIA released a new classified document stating that the military intelligence service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine had agreed to delay the attack on Moscow at the request of the United States.

The confidential documents do not contain details about who mediates, why Ukraine agreed to the US request, and so on.

But the US mediation appears to have been only partially successful, the Washington Post said.

A CIA document noted that another intelligence agency in Ukraine, the National Security Agency, “shows no indication that it has agreed to delay its plan to attack Moscow on the same date.”
