Ukraine has advanced on some fronts in its ongoing reversal offensive, but has yet to deploy new strike forces, Zelensky said.
Some of the most powerful units “wait their turn” to join the battle, Zelensky said in a video released on Wednesday night. He also said that while Russian attacks have increased in some areas, Ukrainian forces have held back and have not lost ground.
The European Union (EU) is ready to propose a financial aid package of around €50 billion ($70 billion) to help Ukraine.
The proposal by the European Commission, the EU’s executive body, would help pay for Ukraine’s spending and recovery priorities, people familiar with the plan said.
