Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Agency (NACP) said experts discovered that the satellite navigation system of the Iskander-K missile launched to Chernihiv contained four American components.

The document also revealed that this missile was produced no earlier than March 2023. NACP believes it is likely that these parts were shipped to Russia after it began the war in Ukraine. The agency calls on the international community to work together against the dissemination of its technology, especially to Russia.

“Foreign technologies and components cannot continue to be part of Russia’s weapons,” the notice emphasized.

Ukraine accused that on the morning of August 19, the Russian army attacked the center of Chernihiv with ballistic missiles, killing 7 people and injuring 156 people. Russian forces launched a missile attack on the Chernihiv Music and Drama Theater as a gathering of drone manufacturers and aerial reconnaissance training schools was being held there on the day of the Liuti Ptashky (Furious Birds) performance, although only event participants knew the exact location.
