Ukraine war: One million soldiers to recapture southern Ukraine | politics

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (44) is mobilizing a million soldiers to recapture the south of the country from Putin’s occupying forces!

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksy Reznikov (56) revealed in an interview with the British Times that Zelenskyi had already given the order for the recapture. “We understand that it is politically very necessary for our country,” Reznikov told the newspaper.

Zelenskyi focused on the coastal areas, which are important for Ukraine’s economy. Defense Minister Resnikov did not reveal which territories these are. The port city of Mariupol on the Azov Sea could be one of them, because before the war it was one of the largest trading centers in the country.

Around Cherson, the Ukrainians repeatedly succeed in gaining ground in counter-offensives. The area is strategically very important because it forms a bridge between the Donbass region and the Crimean Peninsula, annexed by Russia since 2014.

In recent weeks, however, Ukraine has suffered heavy losses in the Luhansk region in the east of the country. The entire oblast is now under the control of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin (69). His troops are currently trying to conquer the second Donbass region, Donetsk. For days, the city of Sloviansk in particular has been bombed almost around the clock.
