After a month, it came out of the underground tunnel to the ground.

Mariupol was effectively occupied by Russian forces.

An additional 50 civilians were rescued on the 6th local time at the Azoustal Steel Works, where the final protest is underway.

Mostly women and children.

The Ukrainian government body, the Humanitarian Response Center, said in a statement that 50 people, including 11 children, had been rescued and delivered to the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

However, the Ukrainian side said the Russian ground offensive continued while civilians were evacuated.

The Azou Regiment, which is fighting at the steelworks, said, “One soldier was killed and six were injured in the attack by the Russian army.”

They said they broke their promise to a week-long ceasefire to evacuate civilians.

It is known that more than 2,000 soldiers and hundreds of civilians are still waiting for rescue inside the steelworks.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council adopted a statement this morning calling for a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine crisis.

However, as if conscious of Russia, which is a permanent member of the Board of Directors, it used a more relaxed expression of conflict rather than invasion or war.
