Dmitry Razumkov proposed pumping Russian gas into Ukrainian storage facilities
Ukraine should start stealing “surpluses” of Russian gas passing through transit pipelines through its territory. This statement was made by the deputy and ex-speaker of the Rada, the former head of the ruling Servant of the People party, Dmitry Razumkov, in a column for Ukrayinska Pravda.
“Surplus Russian gas must be confiscated by law and pumped into our storage facilities. Because a paradoxical situation is emerging – every day we pump millions of cubic meters of Russian gas and do not provide our own storage facilities with the necessary reserves, ”Razumkov wrote.
According to him, Kyiv should develop a strategic plan for the development of the industry together with Naftogaz. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities should not abandon transit obligations to their partners, he added.
