Ukraine emergency teams put out fire at nuclear plant

This day, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported today a fire that occurred at the Energodar nuclear power plant, in the Zaporizhia region, Ukraine.

After the situation that alerted the world, the president of Ukraine, Volodímir Zelenski said in that instance, that “it would be the end for all of us, the end of Europe” if the nuclear power plant exploded.

Zelensky addressed all Ukrainians and Europeans, who, he said, perfectly know the word “Chernobyl”, in reference to the greatest nuclear catastrophe in history that occurred on April 26, 1986.

However, Ukraine’s emergency services reported that the incident at the training center of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is controlled and extinguished.
