(CNN) Ukraine says the drones that struck Odessa were marked “For Moscow” and “For the Kremlin,” indicating that the overnight strikes across Ukraine may have been linked to explosions in the Russian capital, Moscow.
The footage released by Ukraine’s Southern Command shows two tails of the drones, one with “For Moscow” written on it and the other with “For the Kremlin,” adding that the writing on the tail appeared to be “the reason for the attack.”
According to the Ukrainian Southern Command, 15 Shahed 131/136 drones were launched over Odessa, 12 aircraft were destroyed by air defense forces and mobile fire groups, and three aircraft fell on dormitories belonging to an educational institution.
It is noteworthy that Ukraine has denied any involvement in what Russia describes as a drone attack on the Kremlin and an attempt to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin.
