Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine equated itself with state sponsors of terrorism by attacking the Kremlin. According to him, following this incident, the Russian authorities will take all necessary security measures.

“This is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable terrorist activity by the state. We believe that in this way Ukraine actually equates itself with state sponsors of terrorism. Not even legally, but de facto, in fact,” said Mr. Peskov in an interview with the ATV channel (Republic of Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Dmitry Peskov believes that the attack on the Kremlin is “an attempt to carry out a terrorist act once morest the head of the Russian state.”

On the followingnoon of May 3, the Kremlin press service reported that they tried to attack the Kremlin residence of Vladimir Putin in Moscow with drones. The President at that time was in residence in Novo-Ogaryovo. No harm done.

Russian authorities blamed Ukraine for the attack. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country was not involved in the incident. After that, 40 Russian regions introduced a ban on drone flights.
