As for the weakest performance at the end of today’s trading, the stock of Carnival PLC (LON:) closed down at 6.84% or 56.20 points, and traded at 765.80 at the close. Arrow Ocado Group PLC (LON:) decreased by 5.18% or 31.40 points at 575.00, while the share of InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (LON:) closed down at 3.36% or 156.00 points at 4,489.00.
The number of shares that gained the most exceeded the number of shares that closed lower, trading on the London Stock Exchange with 976 compared to 860, while 456 remained unchanged.

Gold futures contracts for December delivery rose 0.18% or 3.05 and closed at $1,674.15 an ounce. As for other commodities trading, the WTI crude oil futures contract for November delivery fell 0.36% or 0.30 and reached a price of $83.64 a barrel, while the contract for the month of November with regard to Brent oil contracts, recorded a decrease of 0.21% or 0.19 points, and closed at $90.43 a barrel.
The GBP/USD pair lost 0.61% and traded at 1.13 levels, while the EUR/GBP pair remained unchanged towards 0.35% and reached 0.87 levels.
The dollar index contracts traded with an increase of 0.79% at the level of 110.81.
