[China News]On the 21st local time, British Prime Minister Johnson has started a two-day visit to India. Johnson said the same day that the UK hopes to complete a free trade agreement with India by the end of 2022.

Archyde.com reports that Johnson is ready to offer India more visas in exchange for a free trade deal to be struck this year. India wants more opportunities for Indians to live and work in the UK.

According to reports, the agreement might increase bilateral annual trade by billions of pounds. The U.K. has also said the agreement might nearly double U.K. exports to India.

In addition, Johnson also announced cooperation agreements involving multiple industries, including software engineering, health care and satellite launches. According to the report, the economic value of these cooperation to the UK will exceed 1 billion pounds and create nearly 11,000 jobs in the UK.

It was previously reported that Johnson arrived at Ahmedabad, a commercial city in Gujarat, India, at 8:00 local time on the 21st to begin his visit to India. On the 22nd, Johnson and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks in New Delhi on economic, security and defense cooperation.
