Saint-Louis, May 28 (APS) – Some 203 recipients of the Training and Research Unit in Economics and Management Sciences (UFR SEG) of Gaston Berger University received their diplomas on Saturday during a graduation ceremony chaired by the rector Ousmane Thiaré, noted the APS
On this occasion, the rector promised to support graduates who enter the circle of UGB alumni in their integration into the professional environment following their training.
Professor Thiaré urged the recipients to show perseverance in order to succeed in this new stage of their lives, which is as important as the others crossed in spite of the obstacles.
”We hope this new existence will be rich and inspired by your sponsors”, said Pr Thiaré, inviting new graduates to approach the Department of Innovation and Integration of the UGB.
Professor Abdoul Aziz Ndiaye, director of the UFR SEG painted the portrait of the godmother Mrs. Fatou Diop Sall, professor at Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) and the sponsors, in particular Ahmad Aminou Lo, national director of the Banque centrale des West African States (BCEAO), Ali Nar Diop, Director of the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD), Professor Adama Diaw of UGB and Mohamed Bachir Wade of UCAD .
He invited the recipients to follow the example of the godmother and the godfathers in order to achieve in life while having as a priesthood the promotion of moral values and ethics.
