ULTIMATE Fight Championship (UFC) officially released the schedule for UFC 308 in Abu Dabi, United Arab Emirates on October 26, 2024. The fight will bring together UFC featherweight champion Ilia Tuporia and BMF champion Max Holloway.
Via the official UFC website, UFC 145 pound featherweight title holder, Ilia Tuporia will defend the title after defeating Alexander Volkanovski.
For your information, Max Holloway was a featherweight champion who won the BMF belt by technical knockout (TKO) against Justin Gaethje in the lightweight class.
Apart from the fight between Ilia Tuporia and Max Holloway, UFC 380 will feature other exciting fights, including Robert Whittaker against Khamzar Chimaev, who is undefeated in the middle class.
Chimaev hasn’t competed since winning by majority decision over Kamaru Usman in October 2023. Meanwhile, Whittaker’s last fight was by knocking out Ikram Aliskerov in June.
UFC 308 opened with a fight between Shara Magomedov and Arman Petrosyan, followed by Magomed Ankalaev against Aleksandar Rakic.
Ankalaev’s meeting with Rakic will determine the next contender for UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
