UEFA is working on options to postpone the final Champions Leagueif the game is taken away from St. Petersburg.
According to ESPN, the likelihood of a postponement is quite high as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict escalates.
UEFA plans to cooperate with the European Union and adhere to the sanctions that will be imposed on Russia.
Match option Wembley UEFA does not consider. One of the reasons is that the stadium has to host the decisive matches of the English tournaments within these terms. Also, Wembley is already scheduled to host the Champions League final in 2024.
Among the possible options are stadiums in Rome, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
