UDF and BJP Candidates’ Assets and Legal Cases Revealed in Puthupally Constituency

Kottayam: UDF in Puthupally constituency. 15.98 lakh as investment for candidate Chandy Oommen. It is in eight banks. There is a bank loan of Rs 12.72 lakh. The election affidavit states that the monthly income is Rs 25,000. Candidate does not own land, vehicle or building. No jewelry. 15,000 in possession.

He is accused in three cases at Ranni, Enath and Thiruvananthapuram Fort stations. The case once morest the two stations is for unfair assembly in violation of the Covid protocol. There is a case of unlawful assembly at the fort station.

Lijinlal and his wife have assets of Rs 68 lakh

Kottayam: BJP candidate Lijinlal of Putupally and his wife have assets worth Rs 68 lakh. Dependent mother owns land and house worth Rs 25 lakhs. Ten thousand rupees each is in the possession of the candidate and his wife. 2000 with mother and Rs.

Stock savings of Rs.6 lakh for wife. They have a car worth Rs 6 lakh. Lij has jewelery worth Rs 84000 and his wife jewelery worth Rs 38.64 lakh. Mother has jewelery worth Rs 2.30 lakh and Lij’s son Rs 46000. There are two cases once morest Lij at Pala station and one at Kottayam East station. The case has been taken for joining an unfair gang.
