CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Minister Udayanidhi Stalin mockingly dismissed the threats leveled once morest him following the controversy of likening Sanatana Dharma to an epidemic. Udayanidhi responded that he is the grandson of the person who was ready to sacrifice his life for Tamil Nadu.
Uttar Pradesh’s Paramahamsa Acharya announced a reward of Rs 10 crore for those who kill Udayanidhi. Udayanidhi replied that a comb costing just 10 rupees was enough to comb his hair. The minister’s security has been beefed up as the threat is high. More police were deployed in front of the residence in Chennai.
AnnaDMK general secretary and Tamil Nadu opposition leader Edappadi Palanisamy alleged that Udayanidhi’s statement was an attempt to divert attention from the failures of the DMK government.
Case should be filed: 262 eminent persons to Supreme Court
