“The importance of having this team is to be able to save lives, being a very remote commune means having the opportunity for our paramedics to revive a cardiorespiratory arrest. Having this team will help us give better opportunities to our neighbors, many of whom are economically deprived, and thus bring health closer”, explained Francisco Menéndez Rocco, Director of Health of the La Higuera commune and former student of the Kinesiology degree.
