In development for many years at Ubisoft Singapore, Skulls and Bones finally arrives on November 8 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

Unveiled five years ago, few details had come out regarding Skull and Bones since its initial announcement. Rumors speak of a difficult development for this pirate game which is seen as a response to Microsoft’s Sea of Thieves.
Ubisoft today revealed the November 8, 2022 release date for the game, along with a new cinematic trailer and some screenshots below.
Skull and Bones will invite players to write their own destiny, from simple outcasts to true legendary pirate captains. To do this, they will have to develop their Infamy in thrilling naval combat and prolific expeditions in a world full of mystery and danger.
Just like in legendary tales, players will be able to experience an authentic and thrilling pirate life. From completing contracts and gathering resources, to navigating important trade routes and attacking wealthy merchant ships, every decision will influence their journey, with varying levels of risk and reward. As they develop their Infamyplayers will be able to build and customize their naval fleet and unlock a variety of new items throughout the game.
Each journey in the Skull and Bones universe will be unique. Players will be able to expand their empire by teaming up with two friends or players they meet at sea. local factions or even rival pirates.
In its press release, Ubisoft promises an ambitious post-launch content plan with frequent updates.
