Ubisoft Tries To Hit PC Gamers With Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

In a new trailer exclusively dedicated to PC players, Ubisoft details the different graphics options thatAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora will offer on the machines of the Master Race. Ray Tracing, extended graphics settings, support for ultra-wide and multi-screen resolutions, multi-core optimization… Things that should be available for all games, but which are marketing arguments here. And they would be wrong to deprive themselves of it, because many are those who do not grant such care on this side. They also ensure that it will work just as well on a pro machine as on a 10,000 ball config, in particular thanks to the FSR 2, and that integrated benchmarking tools will allow you to make your settings with little onions. The notable absence from this pretty list, however, is DLSS, since AMD, as with Starfieldis a partner of the game. But surprise, we can read on the blog dedicated to the game, that DLSS will be present on release, to the delight of Nvidia fans. However, doubts remain as to the proposed version: DLSS 2 only? DLSS 3 as well?

If we can fear that the gameplay is a rehash of the last Far Cry, there’s no denying that the art direction is impressive. There are myriads of details, shadows and very convincing foliage, all the more so in 4K and 60 FPS, as shown in the video, which has the good taste of not presenting any jerkiness. Hopefully it’s not bullshit, and we can actually achieve that quality in-game.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released on December 7, 2023, and if you are missing a box, you can already pre-order it on the Ubisoft store for 70 €.
